Текст песни: Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man Play a song for me Im not sleepy and there is no place Im going to Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man. Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man Play a song for me In the jingle-jangle morning Ill come following you Though I know that evenings empire has returned into sand Vanished from my hand Left me blindly here to stand But. Tambourine Man is the debut studio album by American rock band the Byrds, released on June 21, 1965 by Columbia Records. The album, along with the single of the same name, established the band as an internationally successful act and was influential in originating the musical style known as folk rock. The term was, in fact, first coined by the American music press to describe the band's sound in mid-1965, around the same time as the Mr. Tambourine Man single reached the top of the Billboard. Tambourine Man is a song written and performed by Bob Dylan and featured on his 1965 album Bringing It All Back Home, produced by Tom Wilson. After Dylan wrote it, he produced a demo in December 1964, which The Byrds' version is based on. Dylan's recording of the song is placed at 106 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Due to The Byrds' version of the song also making the list at 79, it is one of three songs to place twice, along with Walk This Way by both Aerosmith and Run-DMC with Perry and Tyler, and &q read. One of the greatest debuts in the history of rock, Mr. Tambourine Man was nothing less than a significant step in the evolution of rock & roll itself, demonstrating that intelligent lyrical content could be wedded to compelling electric guitar riffs and a solid backbeat. The material was uniformly strong, whether they were interpreting Bob Dylan on the title cut and three other songs, including the hit single All I Really Want to Do, Pete Seeger The Bells of Rhymney, or Jackie DeShannon Don't Doubt Yourself, Babe. Bob Dylan wrote Mr. Tambourine Man, which was originally released on his fifth album Bringing It All Back Home on March 22, 1965. His version wasn't released as a single, but when The Byrds released their cover later in 1965, it was a transatlantic hit, topping the charts in both the US and UK. It's the only song Dylan ever wrote that went to 1 in America in the UK, Manfred Mann's cover of Quinn The Eskimo also went to 1

As a songwriter, he pioneered several different schools of pop songwriting, from confessional singersongwriter to winding, hallucinatory, stream-of-consciousness narratives. By 1997, fans were wondering whether Bob Dylan had anything left in his artistic tank, but a near-fatal illness had clearly inspired him, resulting in a dark, moody album filled with resignation and visions of mortality.
