I kept a diary of that entire time and used a lot of it to create the written promotional materials. The overarching vibe of my writing is that we weren't being taken very seriously, but once we committed to making the record, there was no thought of going back. We spent six months getting donated tracks to make the Hear N Aid album, with the Stars track as the single. I don't know if there had been another album like this, with donated tracks, at that point.
