I am saxophonist myself - I have big collection of sax players and many times I been thinking - should it be something new done or no as the players always repeat what was done over decades. I would like to say that Jim pepper has unique style and sound - each song has a message to bring when you listen. The compositions are exciting and not boring. He should have been more recognized in his early ages...If you like Pharoah Sanders and John Coltrane you will love this man much more...
